Services
Architecture
Full-scope, context-driven architectural services.
We design custom homes, small-scale commercial spaces, and interiors, supported by clear technical documentation and a deep understanding of urban context.
Our work includes feasibility studies, zoning analysis, permit submissions, tender coordination, and contract administration.
research
The foundation of everything we do.
We study history, urban patterns, zoning, and community context to turn complex information into clear, usable insights.
Our research supports architecture, cultural projects, exhibitions, and community planning.
Community storytelling
Making cities readable.
Through writing, walking tours, and public storytelling, we translate urban and architectural ideas into accessible narratives that help people understand the places they live in.
F.A.Q.
How we work, what we do, and how to start.
We work with architects, designers, cultural institutions, and community organizations.
Some projects are design-driven. Others are research or storytelling-based.
Most sit somewhere in between.
If your work involves understanding a place — before designing, planning, or communicating it — we are likely a good fit.
Yes.
We work with individuals and families who want to document their stories — whether as written narratives, recorded interviews, or structured archives.
These projects often focus on migration, cultural identity, or personal experiences shaped by the city.
They can take the form of a private record, a publication, or material for future generations.
Each project is different, but most follow a structure:
- Understanding the question or problem
- Research and contextual analysis
- Developing spatial or narrative frameworks
- Translating into design, report, or storytelling output
Some projects are short and focused. Others evolve over time.
Most of our work is based in Toronto, but the approach is transferable.
We are open to projects in other cities, especially where cultural context and urban transformation are central to the work.
Every project is different, so we don’t use fixed pricing.
Instead, we define scope together based on your needs, timeline, and level of depth required. Some projects are short and focused. Others develop over multiple phases.
We typically structure work in one of three ways:
- Fixed-scope projects (for clearly defined deliverables such as reports or studies)
- Phased work (for projects that evolve over time, such as design or research-led processes)
- Hourly or advisory basis (for early-stage conversations, reviews, or ongoing input)
Our goal is to make the scope clear and the process manageable — especially at the beginning.
We combine spatial thinking, research, and narrative.
This means we don’t just produce drawings or reports — we help clarify how a place works, why it matters, and how to act within it.
